Azulejos 21

Portuguese Azulejos tile design. Fully procedural made with Substance Designer.

I like to make tiles fully procedural, i.e. from scratch, rather then put in an image or photo. Partly to get practice making designs (the design on the surface of the tiles) with Substance. And partly so that I can create my own designs - instead of being limited to what already exists in the world. And of course, to avoid copyright infringement. I have found, in 16 months of playing with Substance, that I am still improving my skills - and getting more efficient with the software.
